Is there a program that comes built in to windows 7 laptops that has a Stereo

mix recording programme? I know about some of the downloadable ones like aduacity (even though that does not work on windows 7 due to system limitations) but are there any that come built in to most normal laptops. Like is there an option on movie maker or something?
 
Hi.

Even windows sound recorder ( in Accessories ) can record form the stereo mix but the bit rate is just to low for a decent recording when it comes to music.

To enable stereo mix as default source :-

Right click your speaker icon.
Select recording devises.
You should see two icons the mic and stereo mix/sound card/chip.
If you do not see the two icons then right click in this open window and tick -
" show disabled devices"

Now enable stereo mix and set as default , now even windows sound recorder will record from stereo mix.
