For example modesty squad, honor killings, shunning converts, protexia/nepotism? Stuff that a leader with unquestionable authority would request and get followers to do.
I would share my personal experiences. I was asked by a superior to prefer another candidate based on not having a particular skin color and origin, but I refused because the candidate was better qualified, and they over rode my request, made fun of me, and gave it to a native who couldn't handle the job. So for me I couldn't. But I did have to hire him as instructed, I regret that.
