off? I just got my cell and I was trying to figure it out when it all of a sudden said PUK blocked does anyone know what I can do I have called att and they told me to wait till my phone is activated please help!!
Is it asking for the PUK code? If it was and you kept messing with it and it no longer is asking for the code then it is too late and you have "fried" the SIM card and will have to go to an AT&T store and purchase a new one for around $25. You can also get the PUK if you register your account online at www.wireless.att.com by doing the following:
Symptom:
Error: "Enter PUK Code"
Fix:
When the error message "ENTER PUK CODE" is shown on the screen of the device:
Log into the myWireless Account section of wireless.att.com
Click on PHONE/DEVICE.
Click the Unblock SIM Card link.
Follow the instructions on the pop-up page.
NOTE: Entering the incorrect code more than 10 times will cause the SIM card to be permanently locked and will require purchase of a replacement SIM card. To buy a new SIM, please visit a store near you.
