LG Home Theatre (all speakers wont work)?

Hi
I just bought an LG HT-C555 home cinema system and i tried playing an MP3 file and Audio CD on it. The 2 front speakers, centre speaker and subwoofer works well but the other 2 REAR speakers doesn't work. Only works when i play a DVD on the system.

Please help me fix this problem i want to be able to play mp3 files and audio CDs with all the speakers working. please help :(

Not all disks are set up for surround sound. Some are only in stereo, other hand, they are set up for two channels instead of four which is why your other channels cannot pick up from the DVD or CD. Thats why movie disks work because they are set up for this kind of sound. The disk should tell you if they are capable for surround sound. You may not be able to fix this.
