We should say Assalamu Alaikkum (Allah mercy and peace be on you).. But I see throughout social network sites simply 'Salaam'.. Sounds stylish.. But it also means like 'Have peace with Shaitaan too'. And be careful while lettering those words. If you miss the letter 'l', It becomes Assaamu Alaikkum (May death happen to you). Some people when seeing other muslim just greet them in a hurry.. That sounds like 'Salamalai-kum' which means (may curse be upon you).. Be careful friends.

Assalamu Alaikkum
When we mankind use the word Salaam means simply peace.. Assalaam refers Allah (as peace maker).. So greeting simply Salaam means 'have peace with everything' my friends. When we do not include As- prefix it is like excluding the uniqueness.. Allah is unique. So never ever exclude the uniqueness while greeting.. Thats all I wanted to say.

No one gives a f uck you stupid donkey f ucking terrorist piece of s hit. Go beat your wife up you pathetic waste of space

Peace be with you,

The word "SALAM" for conversation is made in India/Pakistan.. But it cannot go to "have a peace with shaitaan too" like you said.. Because "Al-Salam" is the attribute of Allah and you cannot apply it to Shaitaan. Because when we says Salam.. we means to Peace of Allah upon you.

I was never agreed with "SALAM!" to wish someone.. I myself use "SALAMU ALIKUM" while writing it. Arab Muslims use "ALIKUM SALAM" which means "Upon you be Peace" or if you turn it .. it would become SALAM ALIKUM" "Peace be upon you" .. when we apply word "AS" or "AL" like..

Al-Momin
As-Salam
Ar-Rehman

These Al/Ar/As are represented as "THE" .. As-Salamu Alikum" (The peace of Allah be upon you) in simple and plain meanings.

Allah knows the best.

Thanks,
Mr. Khan

The shaiten are the muslims who cause war on the peaceful and innocent.

Very soon the muslims will know the power of shaiten and you will face the wratrh of god.

thanks, I don't even know that. I started using salam in text messsages because people told me that putting a'kum to shorten for Assalamu Alaikkum is not good because it means Have peace with Shaitaan too.

The Important thing is what we think not we say but that's right we should be careful.
