My Blue Ray player doesn't recognize my wireless internet...?

I put in the password and everything and it says connected to internet, now i typically would assume this means when i open netflix or pandora radio, it would work right? No. It says this application requires connection to internet. So then i go back in and look and it says i am still connected, I have tried to un-connect and then re connect but the same message comes up. It has worked previously, it just started acting up just now. Any suggestions please help me.
 
Try to connect to other networks (no password/yours) that you have used to browse the web with your computer/phone etc.
If is still says so, it might be something in the software (the apps or the system).

Also check your settings.
