rename them Track 1, etc. What Can I do? (This happens only when using mp3 playlists with my cel Ericsson W 300. The real files outside the playlists are actually shown exactly as the mp3 file is named). And this happens only in some cases; most of the time it actually reads the track names just as they are shown in Media Player, or it names the track exactly as the mp3 file is named, if there's no track name info).
I've tried the following, unsuccessfully:
1st, I renamed the mp3 files, from Track 1.mp3 etc to Whatever.mp3. It didn't work.
Then, using "edit" in Windows Media Player, I changed the track names manually. Media Player and other players I have do recognize those edited track names, but my cell keeps reading them as Track 1 Track 2 etc!
I'm using Win 2000 pro. Is there any software or any trick I can do to these mp3 files, to force my cell to recognize the edited track names, instead of reading them as Track 1, Track 2, etc?
Thanks in advance!
