I used to have a recordable DVD that worked just fine. Since that packed up I replaced it with a cheap player. I have set it up exactly as the other one put am having problems.
Ok, so I have a virgin plus box, this is wired to the TV with HDMI cable, to the HDMI 1 output. I have a Wii also connected to the AV output... so far so good! All works just right. Now the DVD player is connected to the scart 1 output on the TV (as was the other one.) Each time I need to use either of these (Wii, TV, DVD) I press output on the TV remote and choose the relevant output. As I said this worked just fine before.
So here is the problem. When I flick to scart 1 for the DVD it works just fine and the movie starts, problem is, if I have to pause the DVD for more than 10 min the screen saver starts up and then the output flicks to 'TV' and all I get is a fuzzy picture. Changing the output to the original 'scart 1' does nothing and I have to start the movie all over again! FRUSTRATING!
What can be the problem here and what is the solution?
Hope one of you tech brainiacs can help because it is driving me mad.
