is the check engine light on? if so, you need to get the codes read and we can work more from that.
Otherwise, if it isn't, then you have a couple things that it could be.
good start with the fuel injector cleaner by the way!
changing the fuel filter could help, but I think really it could be a sensor, like a MAP sensor, cam or crankshaft sensor, or could even be the fuel pump itself not putting out enough pressure and the engine stalls out at idle.
Also another thing to check would be the IAC or idle air control valve.
When the engine is idle, this valve pushes a solenoid to open the butterfly valve so the engine won't snuff itself out.
