well first off right now i have a memphis 12" sub enclosed in a sealed box powered by a audiobahn a4002v amp.. the guy that tinted my windows sold me this package + installed it for me a while back so im not entirely sure how many watts/ohms the sub is..and it doesnt say it on the actual sub but i looked it up on ebay and this is what it looks like so im assuming its this..

in that case the amp/sub are compatible. but i was talking to a guy at best buy and he was saying that the amp probably wasnt the best + i should get better gauge wire..because i believe its like 10-14.
i think its just time for an upgrade all together so i was wanting to do 2 12" type-r's but that guy said it will break my back window of my vw passat..although ive seen this combo in a mustang so im not sure thats true. but should i just get 1 type r?
either way, i will definately get a 0 gauge kit and re-run the wiring. but if i just get one i can use my current sealed box, or if i get 2 i was planning on going with a ported but idk im just so lost what do you guys suggest.
