Obama on illegal downloading/ file sharing?

Do any of you know what is Presidents Obama opinion, or what he plans on doing with the issue of illegal downloading (downloading music without paying)? I know the vice president Biden, wants to stop it, and Obama did appoint a RIAA lawyer to one of the highest position in judicial branch. It's very important to me, because I work in the major label, and all I am making is $30k a year, but I don't care, because I love music and my job, and I don't want it taken away from me. I hope he plans on doing something, to resolve this issue.
 
Hopefully he'll understand that illegal downloading WILL NOT stop, no matter how much time and effort is put into it. Perhaps the problem isn't with the people downloading as much as it with the artists and labels releasing a sub par product. Music used to be herald as the soundtrack to life. Now, an artist is lucky to have their song on the radio for more than a week until the radio stations move on to something else.
