Pairing Official Sony PS3 Bluetooth headset to Toshiba Satellite U400 possible ?

I bought the Official Sony Bluetooth headset for the PS3, no matter what I do I can't seem to pair it with my laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite U 400 (Windows 7). It always discovers it as a wireless headset but it states "Detection of Service Failed" when I try to pair it. I have updated the bluetooth stack from Toshiba and still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
