Play PSP games on ipad 3?

I just got an ipad. Now I know that you can't play psp games on ipad 3 (and that a jailbreak hasn't been released), but I was wondering whether the Ipad 3 would have enough processing power to actually play a psp game.

What about PS2? Is it simply possible or not?
