PS2 Slim game spins slowly, disk read error.?

The game spins slowly, then gives a disk read error. Two games have this problem, but others work fine. I put the game in my PC afterwards, and the game appears to work(It gives me options and the title bar has the name of the game). What is wrong???
It's a PS2 game.

If the games work in the PC, they could be PC games

edit: sorry, could just be bust, slimline ones are more sleak, but less reliable
