Question about air soft gun laws and shooting others lol?

okay please do not tell me how bad of an idea it is or give me any guidance to what is right from wrong, please i just need an answer to my question

last Halloween me and some friends were around shooting fellow teens with airsoft guns from a car, we did it all over town and had no trouble or anything. i plan to most likely do the same thing this year but last year it was kind of a last minute idea.

Now that im planning on doing it this year, can someone please tell me the potential penalties as far as shooting pedestrians and things like that using AIR SOFT guns....

no criticism please just answers
 
That is assault. If you strike them in the eye or the ear and cause serious damage, it would be a felony. Causing injury to a minor could also be a felony.

Your town probably has additional laws such as shooting within the city limits, and shooting from a car.

From a legal definition, an airsoft gun is the same thing as a BB gun. The only difference is the pellet is plastic instead of metal. That won't matter if someone is injured.
 
Some idiot kid shot my son with an air-soft rifle, and it hit his eye. Upon arrival at the emergency room, the police came. That was in May, and we testify in Juvenile court against him next month. The police here take it very serious, and are treating it like he was shot with a BB gun. The family was evicted from the complex we live in.

Not to mention his mother paid for the hospital bills so she would not face a civil court case.
