different stereo? Ok, I have a Kenwood KDC-MP242 stereo, 50w, 22w RMS. My issue is, I have the speakers that came with it and they suck so much. But, I have another set from a past car adventure that are 6.5 inch JVC CSV624. They are 200w max output and are 2 way. Is it possible for me to use those with that Kenwood stereo, safely, without an amp?

Sorry, I'm not that great with wiring. Someone else put them in and they're all messed up so I have to fight with them.

You can use your speakers without an amp they just won’t be as loud. Just clip the wires where your speakers are now and simply replace them with the JVC speakers. Positive to positive and negative to negative. l did this in my Suburban where l replaced my factory speakers and they sound fine.
