Questions About iPhone OS 4 for iPod Touch? Please Answer!?

Okay well, does anyone know anymore features that are for the iPhone OS 4 firmware besides the ones listed on the apple site here?....

1-Does anyone know what features are compatible with each iPod toch generation?
Cause all I know right now is that mulitasking isn't comatible with the 2nd generation.

I plan on buying an 8GB iPod Touch, I'm saving up for it right now, I have $120 saved up so far and am still saving up, I should be able to get one by July. But the OS 4 software isn't compatible with the 3rd generation 8GB models....
2- Why in the world is apple being a B*tch and not making the OS 4 software compatible AT ALL with the 8GB 3rd generation?
I really want to get the OS 4 software so...

3- Should I just wait til September for the iPod Touch 4th Generation?
4-Will the iPod Touch 4 be compatible with the OS 4 software?
5-Will the software be released for the iPod Touch in September?
6- Has the software been released yet for the iphone 3gs? If so can anyone tell me if the multitasking, ibooks, are for it?
Well actually the 8GB 3rd generation is a 3rd generation. The 8GB 3rd generation has 1 new feature over it's 2nd Generation Competitor, Voice Memos, but the feature is useless since the 8GB doesn't come with the supplied apple earphones with remote+mic. But thought that I'd just mention that.
7-Also, does anyone know any new features that the 4th generation will have? I know it won't have a camera, cause my brother work as an intern for two weeks at one of there developing agencies as internship for college and he told me they won't have a camera, cause they don't have space and it would cause problems with the flash memory/ mechanisms in the touch. He said they had a hard enough time getting one into the nano.

Well the "3rd gen" 8gb isn't even a 3rd gen.
At the iPod Event last September, Apple only unveiled the iPod Touch 3rd gen in the 32 and 64 gb models, no 8gb was unveiled, so yeah, it doesn't have the new hardware or anything.

I'll answer your questions, well at least try the 1st one.

1- I'm not sure if the background changing is compatible with it, because my uncle is a developer at Apple (not the people who make the OS, I mean this one developer.apple.com ), and they released a developers' preview of iOS 4, and he tried getting it on his 2nd gen iPod and iPhone 3G, and background didn't work, multi-tasking didn't work, and some other stuff.
I think iBooks worked.

2- (first thing I stated in my answer.)

3- If you have the patience to wait, then you should wait.

4- Yes, it will be compatible with the iOS 4.

5- It will be released on the 21st of June.

6- No, only a developers' preview has been released.
Everything on iOS 4 works on the 3GS
