I've recently seen the xbox VGA HDAV cable and wondered since it can hook up to the computer monitor that way, maybe instead of using a video capture card (my tv is really old and has only the coax cables in the back) to instead use a 2 VGA to 1 VGA switch to plug the xbox 360 and my computer to both use the monitor, in turn i could use a computer program like fraps or something to record.
Im not sure if this will work (main part is that how will it switch between, is there a button or something for going from xbox screen to computer screen?
another question is if that does work, can i run fraps in the background while switching to the xbox screen and it capture that?
And will this lower the quality or slow down the xbox screen/recording program alot (to the point that it wouldn't be worth it.)
