As part of a fitness program I am avoiding eating anything with sugar and preservatives and I've been craving sweets for hours, its my 2nd day.

I know I can eat fruit, but I want something to drink, I ain't sure if juice is the right option as they can be as bad as fizzy drinks with sugar. I don't fancy making my own as I don't have the require equipment at home.

Any suggestions?

Also caffeine alternatives for energy? I use to suck on Monster in the mornings or a coffee or 2, but can't now :(

You might try artificial sweeteners, or stevia extract if you want a natural sugar substitute.

I had sweets cravings for over 30 years until I started taking chromium, and within a few weeks they were drastically reduced. You might want to try chromium supplements.

this is why extreme 'cut something out totally' diets don't work. I drink blackcurrant squash, suitably diluted - not the low-sugar stuff as the sweeteners taste horrible. Pick a flavour that you like.

and what is stopping you having your morning coffee? No calories at all in a black coffee.

Flavored water usually doesn't have any sugar. It isn't as sweet as juice of course, but it's a replacement for now! Good luck with your diet :]
