Which one should I use? My authoring software shows me the following options: NTSC(USA,Japan) and PAL(Europe, etc). What are the differences of these two formats? Will the audio/video quality, disk space, etc, vary from one to another. Also will a disc of one format run on a player of other? Also do players in the Indian market support NTSC or PAL or both?

If you live in North America or Japan use NTSC. Otherwise use PAL

NTSC is just the frame rate of the video which is 29.97 fps I believe. It's the standard for viewing videos/shows on American television.
