I seem to remember a time when it wasn't like that- you used to have ordinary, decent but hard workouts like '3 rounds run 400m, 10 pullups, 10 handstand pushups, 10 squats for time', but looking back at it maybe even those weren't all that sensible. Still, either way, I've had enough and I'm going. Maybe the rest of the unwashed, non-elite masses should start voting with their feet as well. It was being asked to run 800m with a loaded barbell that did it.
