I'm kinda heartbroken right now so, what songs are goo for trying to forget a girl or avoiding relationships because they end in heartbreak or anything similar

Forget alternative rock, go deeper, American Woman by hendrix. no song more liberating for a man, now you want alterantive rock? to forget? Black Box by Nirvanna, but then alterantive rock isnt about forgetting, so that may be too emo. Already Heard It by Thanks to Gravity, that band didnt sell out at all and still rock but are more underground than ever there at the end of alternative rock period.
The best break up song of all alternative rock time is God by Tori Amos, but really alternative isnt about feeling different than you do its about exploring how you feel and owning it. try a different genre. or just try AMERICAN WOMAN.

actually my friend. the more you listen to music the more you will end up remembering you ex. I tried it many times and the best way was to avoid music and talk to other girls
 
Listinging same songs again and again is also gonna get you bored. Forget her, dont try it because when you try to not to remember her you ultimately remember her. So get your self involved with something you really love to do. I understand how it feels when your heart breaks but still...everything will be fine gradually. Being active on yahoo answers is also good way to keep your self occupied and sharing your thoughts with outer world.
