What do you think of Harold Camping's newest "prediction" for the end of the world?

What's worse, he is making true Christians look bad because now people associate us with people like Camping even though most Christians don't believe this nonsense.

When this guy came out, I spent a bit of time telling others why he was so wrong. Now, it seems like this continues because people refuse to just ignore him. In fact, his stardom has been propelled by people continuously bringing him into the relevant.

Does it make Christians look bad? Yes, but the media will take any opportunity to drag Christianity into the mud.

i lol'd at his newest prediction. he essentially goes
"yeah doomsday isnt going to be May 21st, its going to be October 21st. same year, off by five months"
it really looks like he just pulled that out of his ass. i mean seriously.
people like this are the reason i am agnostic.

and hes going to keep doing this, as long as people keep donating all their money.
which brings me to my next idea. if people give this man all their money hoping to buy their way into heaven, and he is wrong, isnt that the same thing as stealing their money?

i bet if he was threatened with jail time he'd shut his old trap for good.

I think that questions about it belong in the entertainment section, where they put the horoscopes, because that is all it is

a carnival show for the gullible superstitious uneducated suckers in the world
