What's a good program to use to covert a DVD?

I'm not really sure how to burn a DVD and which format to covert it into.

Also, which programs would be the best to use to covert and burn? Preferably something free that doesn't leave watermarks. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time. :)
 
You can use DVDFab HD decrypt to copy the dvd to your computer, then try something like dvdstyler to burn it again. both are free!
