What's the best software to use to rip a DVD to a WMV file?

Preferably download-able and free X3

I want to use the DVDs I own to make my videos in Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas in the best quality I can rip them =3

i prefer dvdfab's "DVD to WMV" function which get the work done nicely till now..

The only one that I have found to work perfectly is Magic dvd ripper http://www.magicdvdripper.com/

It's only a trial, sorry about that, but its a time limited one, and will not compromise the quality of the files created. You can use it for a week or whatever till it stops working, but I think you can just uninstall then re-download and install again and it will work for another week. You can probably rip all the dvds u need in a week anyway. Hope this helps.
