Same old problem with the wireless adapter. While playing xbox, my connection would randomly get lost, or would randomly disconnect. I know for a fact that it has to be my wireless adapter, because when I ran an ethernet cable through it, I never got disconnected.
Now, usually when I'm having troubles with my connection, I restore to factory defaults, and find my wireless network, and type in the WPA code. But, this time, when I search, it has a bunch of weird networks I've never seen before, and mine isn't there. I can obviously connect to the internet, but is this a problem with the network, xbox, or adapter?
And how should I fix it?
PS I know an easy fix would be to buy another ethernet cable, but I frankly don't have the money right now and I'm hoping I can just fix my adapter.
Also, I get a steady red light on the adapter. It doesn't even blink to let me know that it's ready to connect.
is it just trash?
