...such a bad example..? What do you think about this size zero issue? Has it effected you, if so why and how did it effect you?

Makes me feel very fat when i see poeple like that, then depressed because i feel ugly and fat
then starve myself the folowing day and do exercise
then the following day i end up binge eating as am starving and crave for delicious food and thats when i feel better

well i think women with more meat on them are more appealing to me but hollywood tries to portray super skinny as the beautiful and norm i think it is just to sell more exercise videos and diet plans and diet pills

Its not obsessed with being skinny.

People are obsessed with having what they cannot have because they believe that those are the things that will make them happy or special or popular or whatever.

Being skinny is just another thing that real people cannot pull off healthily.

All these skinny celebs may look like they are on the brink of death but i doubt very much they are.

They will have experts who know what exactly your body needs and how to get it without having a high body fat - suppliments, hormones, dietry requirements - you name it.

It is the normal people, without the education and without the experts that copy these trends that are at risk - not the celebrities.

So yes, the celebrities are setting a bad example by cheating the risks associated to being underweight but allowing the ignorant public to aspire to be the same knowing they won't ahve the same resourses at hand.

It has definitely affected me and as a teenager I've had some major troubles with eating. I still feel the pressure to be thin, even when I'm comparing myself to my best friends.
America's Next Top Model should have more plus size models. (instead of just one every three seasons)

The media loves the size zero. If the media changed its attitude I am sure people would too.

i think as long as you are happy with your size and
not obesed thats good

I think it effects most people. I am a size 12 and i am trying to get to a 10. Now i could say it's because i want to be healthy, but size 12 is perfectly healthy!

Lets be honest i want to feel confortable but i hate the way i need to be thinner to be confortable. Personally i find the size 0 horrible, but some people are just built that way.

Its difficult but until people see that variety is beautiful, then it wont change.

IM not obsessed.I think it effects little girls a lot. From the ages 7+ they think they have to look like the ladies in the magazines to be pretty, but if you look at all the woman around you, they don't look like that.Tyra Banks addressed the subject several times, they even started a show true beauty
