I know this is the wrong category but I also know this is the category that all of the muslims use so I thought I'd get a better response.

I'm Christian and I think Islam is the wrong religion (it has some nice ideas partly because it shares alot of heritage with christianity as both were built on the old testament) but I'm not on here to start preaching (please dont any of you try it either, I'm not interested)

I've been looking into it lately and I've found a few problems with Islam which whenever I bring them up I dont receive much of a response.
Why is it that Muslims dont seem willing to question their faith?
When I say flaws I'm not talking about the extremism, as far as I can tell that is the fault of the people and the hate preachers not of the faith itself.

I'd be interested to know the Muslim stance on these issues
- Slavery in the Qur'an (apparently even Muhammad himself had Slaves)
-The idea of unclean, how can God's creations such as Pigs and Dogs be considered unclean?
-The inequality between men and women in many middle eastern states, such as Iran where they are second class citizens. I dont buy into that equal in different ways rubbish
-The treatment of Apostates (people who leave the faith) in muslim countries where shariah law is applied this can end in death. In western countries it can end in the convert being shunned by their own friends and family. This doesn't really seem like the loving thing to do?
-The veil, why is it that you think women should hide the beauty God gave them? If it really is about modesty then since men are just as attractive to women as women are to men why dont both sexes wear one?
-Bigamy and second marriages (again why only with men?)
If you think I'm misinformed then go ahead and try and tell me what you believe, why do you think I asked the question if I did not want your point of view?
It's true my mind is already made up about what I beleive I could tell you why but trust me we would just end up arguing. That doesn't mean I dont want to understand the issue from your perspective.
The people who say I'm cherry picking, yes I have picked out the bad points but that's because they are what I want your opinion on.
shadow strike I dont get how you think I misquoted since I didnt give you any quotes
I still cant get my head round the unclean thing. I can maybe understand it with pigs (I went into a barn full of pigs once, you would not believe the smell, however the same goes for a barn full of chickens, sheep or cows).

As for dogs there is more chance of hell freezing over than me agreeing with you there. I have 2 dogs you see, a Border Collie (sheep dog) and a Jack Russell terrier. Both are very good natured, loyal and affectionate animals which I dont think would exist simply as a test. They are both house trained and to an extent both keep themselves reasonably clean (if they dont a quick wash soon sorts that out).
Adeeb said that a dog's saliva is unclean. Any vet will tell you that a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans.
I hate to drag out this one issue but going back to the dog thing after what Fashion Prodigy said.
A dog which is well looked after probably wouldn't get fleas and if it does they are easily gotten rid of(it's really not that different to lice in humans).
As for dropping hairs most animals drop hairs.
