them using u torrent...nothin? ...nothing happens no download speed no upload speed its just the zeros please help the university i am in blocks lots of sites and doesn't allow downloading from sites like megaupload and rapidshar
i am from Jordan the government don't give a shit about steeling from the net its OK here so if u have some solution say it other than this shut it
 
if they don't allow downloading from MU or RS what chance do you think you have with torrents?

torrents are the first thing universities block. they aren't dumb, they know what torrents are.

it means they have it blocked. PS it would be wise not to use torrents at universities, so far anyone who has been caught pirating movies or music has been from a university.
 
Be extreamly careful not to get caught:

Google: HTTP Proxy and click on one, and set up an account. now go to your torrent program and set it up for use with a proxy. you may have to try a few different Proxys because alot of them are blocked.
 
Torrent and p2p sites are blocked - period.

College and Uni IT departments aren't asleep you know.
