Hi, i am buying a new car audio system for my 2000 pontiac grand am.
The one i have in is old
-2 10" Kenwood's getting maybe 125w RMS Each.
from a JL500w monoblock amp 250w RMS. Both in 1 enclosed box.
All this in mind, my car is completely stock.
stock alternator, relatively new battery and wiring to and from the battery/amp with a wiring kit i purchased when i bought the amp.
I am looking to buy a 2600w AMP with 1200W RMSx1 at 2ohms which is what ill be running it as.
Im was just looking to know if my battery/alternator/wiring. would be sufficient to run an 2600w MAX 1200rms amp without depleting my battery.
if so... sweet
if not what should i need to buy or improve so its sufficient
