I am 5' 4.5", and i weigh 112 lbs.
I just ran my first track meet, and i ran the 800. Would losing a few pounds honestly help me run faster? I read on a running website that 1 lb.= 2 seconds per mile, which would mean 1 second per 800.
What do you think?
I would definantly do it the healthy way, because i don't want to lose strength, so it's not like i have an eating disorder or anything.
(I know thats low for my height , but trust me, i have fat around my stomach, and i'm nowhere near being underweight, even my doctor agrees..)
