I live in the US but want to pre-order or order it, but I want to make sure that I will be able to play the DVDs in my DVD player. I have read that the Blu-Rays are region-free, but are the DVDs also?

It depends on your BluRay player. If your BluRay player is region-code-free, it can play BluRay's from any region.

UK BluRay's are AC/3. US BluRay's are A/1.

I know PS3's are region-code free. So if you're playing it on a PS3, it should work fine. If not, you need to check. Apparently, 70% of BluRay players on the market ARE Region-code free. So there's a pretty good chance it will work.

NO NEVER PUT A BLUERAY DVD IN A AMERICAN DVD PLAYER WILL SCRATCH THE DVD AND RUIN THE DVD PLAYER!!!!!!!MY BROTHER DID IT AND HIS MOVIE WAS GONE FOREVER!!!!!!
