Windows 8 Dvd Drive problem Error code 19?

So i just got a new computer and windows 8 is not detecting any disk i put into it at all, I went to the drivers and there is some kind of error code 19 but i have no clue on how to fix it.. Any Ideas? Even a point in the right direction would be appreciated
Updating won't work ive tried it
I am specifically talking about Dvds for Installing Games and other Programs non of which seem to work

Windows 8 = garbage. Go back into the device manager and first try to update the driver. If that doesn't work delete the driver then reboot the pc. The driver for the dvd drive will reinstall itself.

Windows 8 doesn't support DVD playback, meaning you can't play DVD's unless you have the codec to play it. Microsoft decided to omit them because of tablets and netbooks that doesn't have a DVD drive to begin with. The only way you can play DVD's is buying the feature pack (if you have Windows 8 Pro only). It's about $10.

I have Windows 8 Pro and had to buy it to watch my DVD's again :(

Audio CD works fine, but not DVD.

Then it might be your computer's problem then. I've installed legacy games on mine (GTA San Andreas, etc.) and it worked fine on Windows 8. o__o

Did some research, and it seems to be a registry error tied to the Device Manager.
