A question on 24v & 16v batteries for car audio!?

Hoping if anyone knows if i replace my 12v battery to a 24 or 16 volt, will it damage my vehicle in any way? And will i need to make any further modification's to the car? This is for car audio so also will it harm my amplifier in any way? Hope you can help?

p.s my objective is to gain higher voltage to run amplifier better.
 
24v or 16v battery will fry up your whole set they are made to run on 12v. If your looking to have better voltage distribution get a cap or buy an optima high power battery
