With all the trouble in the US Auto market and all the accusations flying around and what not it make me wonder, what exactly have the auto companies been doing? Toyota and Honda are not only more fuel efficient on the whole but also last for a long time. I heard that those cars are build for 200k miles where Ford's are only built for 75k or something.
So what have the big three been investing their money in? I also read the average workers for the Big 3 and Japanese makers are paid around the same so it is not like all the money goes into research over there.
And quality is pitiful of the Ford Minivan my family used to own. Fix Or Repair Daily is no understatement.
Someone explain this to me
