Can I connect a iPhone/iPad to a Car cd player over Bluetooth?

I was thinking of buying a cd player with bluetooth for my car. I was wondering if you can connect your iPhone/iPad to the player over Bluetooth, as I want it all wireless instead of connecting it via Aux output.
