Can you really notice a difference between SD DVD and Blue Ray Disk?

I have three 720P HDTV's. I use a standard DVD player for movies and looks and sounds great. Is it worth upgrading to Blue Ray, or should that be used in Full HD 1080P? Ir will I even notice a difference?
 
yes you can, blue ray full HD picture quality is much better so is the audio. you must have a HD tv or else you wont notice a difference.
 
Of course, it will be better, but I don't know if it's worth it. I am currently deciding whether to buy one or not. You will probably notice a difference, but from experience, I know that it's not what people say it is. It's like the iPhone. Great, but overrated.
 
honestly, it's probably best to check it out with your own eyes at the store. because there are a lot of people that don't see any difference at all, but there a lot of others that say the difference is night and day. go figure... also, you could always buy the blu ray player temporarily and if you don't like it just return it.
