Compaq laptop windows 7, xp 3 line rant then question?

I have a Compaq presario cq62 laptop. It has windows 7. I HATE IT! windows 7 basically hijacks your computer, It stuffs your mouth full of poo and demands you swallow it, Cause spitting it out gives u (The only user) invalid permissions. ENOUGH RANT! i have a copy of windows xp home 32 bit (x86) Can i put this operating system on this laptop with out any complications? Thanks for your help.
 
You would have to do a fresh install, then reinstall all your drivers.
