Ok i live in Ireland so the MMA scene is still pretty lack luster imagine it as if it were the MMA scene in America in 1998 or something like that there are great fighters here but its still got a long way to go even by contrast to our British neighbours, anyway i want to see if this routine has any value for an aspiring MMA fighter looking to go semi-pro=pro by irish standards in at least a year or 2
Monday :Sparring(varrying from MMA to Boxing/Muay thai) 9-10pm(MMA club)
Tuesday:Wrestling 7-9pm(Wrestling club)
Wednesday:BJJ (in Gi) 6-8pm(MMA club) +Kickboxing 8-9.30pm(Kickboxing club)
Thursday:Boxing 7.30-9pm(Boxing club)
Friday:Bag drills 7-8pm(Home)
Saturday :MMA session(conditioning ,sparring etc.) 2-4pm(MMA club)
Sunday :Bag Drills 7-8 pm(Home)
In the mornings each day ill either go for a 40 minute run or some light weight training at home
this is all based around a 5 day part time job and i as you can see have to train at 4 different clubs as i dont live in a city with a professional MMA Gym that can have its fighters train there 6-7days a week but 2 local towns near by have all these clubs,in one way i think its good working with coaches in different styles and gives a feeling of getting a specified approach to every aspect of my game its just expensive so thats were the part time job comes in(luckily i just graduated secondary school and am not to pushed about college so my parents tol me to do what i love). i just want any feedback i can get to see if im doing it the right way , thank you
