GEOTECH EX-01 Wireless Bluetooth Headset is not working on the PS3?

Go to accessories and try and register the blue tooth device again, when it asks for a password; it should be 0000, if it isn't then try and find the instructions for the headset and the password will be there.
 
i bought this headset 6 months ago and stopped playing ps3 for 2 months. before this the headset was working fine, now i've started to play again the headset won't go on. I've connected it up to the ps3 to charge it and a green light goes on and then goes off after 5 secs so it must be fully charged, i then hold the button in the middle of the headset and i get no response from the headset or the ps3, i then disconnected it from the ps3 and tried to register it again but the ps3 can't find it and i know that if u turn the headset the light should go on (blue) anyway but it doesn't. i don't see how it could've been broken because i left it in a safe place so i have no idea whats going on...i lost the instructions and heard theres a way to make it change modes but seeing as i can't even get it on i don't see how thats going to help. all i really want to know is if there are any solutions but if not i'll just get another headset, thanks
