how do i find a job on a fishing boat in alaska and is it a good idea?

im a 17 year old kid, and i have always wanted to work on a fishing noat in a alaska, would it be a good idea for me to go next year or wait till im 21 cuz i really need money, i come from a poor hard working family. and if there is ant websits i can vist let me know, i know its a dangerous job, i just need some money and i want to do something in my life.
 
it's really not for everyone. i met a guy who did this and said it was probably the worst 15 years he ever endured. -10 temps, high waves, really dangerous conditions and a very angry captain if you don't work up to his standards. the bering sea is a tough place i would consider the military if i were you...
