i tried to play avaitar blue ray disc and menu bar wont go away ps3?

i just got a ps 3 and i tried to play avitar blue ray disc and the menu bar keeps flashing top menu set up etc and i cant get it to go away the movie is playing and menu flashes at the bottom of the movie
