My PS3 was dropped on the floor and ever since then I couldn't play PS3 games

only dvd's. can you help? It's an 80gb non-backwards compatible model.
It will go so much to the loading screen but it never gets to the gameplay.
If you can help i would really appreciate it.

I am afraid you've damaged the blu-ray player. This happened to me 2 times, only thing is, I never dropped mine. it just stopped working by itself. You can try restoring the settings of the system. to do that, just turn off the PS3, hold the power button for 5 seconds and you should hear a beeping sound. if it doesnt work then, just try reformating your system by going to Settings and doing so. but be careful everything will get deleted. If you have a warranty, just call sony and get ur ps3 fixed from them. if you dont have a warranty, they will fix it for $150.
