I have been racking my brain to try and correct but no matter what I have done and read I have not found a solution. My TV is a Samsung, but I don't believe it makes a difference. Has anyone run into this problem and has a solution? Thanks.
This problem is called "Latency" some receivers and HDTV's will have compensation build in when you can adjust the delay of the sound to fit the picture, if you are not fortunate enough to have this feature you may try these other solutions...if you use HDMI connections through out your system this is usually the best solution transmitting sound and video over the same line through out....if this is not posable and you only have analog sound to the receiver, you may have to downgrade the picture quality as well using component connections for video instead of HDMI...you can try different types of connections optical for sound component for video connect video to the TV direct also try connecting sound to the TV and from there to the receiver...it is not always logical as HDMI sound actually will takes longer to process than analog, so you cannot always solve the problem by theorizing you actually have to try different solutions to find out what works....
