Today, after coming home from a long hike on a sunny day, I ran a fever.?

This was AFTER I both finished the hike and went home to drink plenty of water and have a meal. I don't know how high it was. My face only felt really warm, and I think I was a bit forgetful. Later, my legs started cramping and I got a bit of a headache (by now, the fever had gone), but that could be because I haven't exercised in a while. Yes, I drank little water during the hike. I'm fine now, BTW, except for the sore legs.

So . . . did I have heat exhaustion or a heat stroke or what? I didn't have any symptoms beyond what I mentioned. Should I be worried?
To Kingman: Well, I've read that symptoms vary among people, and some people will experience confusion or hallucinations (stuff like that) instead of coma.

If you had heat stroke you would be unconscious. You probably caught a bug at a different time and your body took a little time to fight it off. And I am sick to death of these dumb questions. Honestly, it's dumb. Any human above the age of seven and with a brain could have figured it out.

And don't listen to that retard that said you have a bad case of heat stroke. He's an idiot. And like i said, if you had heatstroke you would be unconscious and you would know it.

I don't care if this is "best answer" or not, you SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

You had a bad case of heat stroke. But don't let me diagnose you, go to your doctor.
