what are some good fantasy books with African American main character.?

i want something along the lines of twilight, harry potter, Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston, The Lost Queen by Frewin Jones,Daughters of the Moon by Lynne Ewing

any thing that comes close to this would be welcome.

Ocativa Butler, very well-known science fiction writer. Start with Wild Seed.

L.A. Banks has a series called the Vampire Huntress Legends. It's about a yound lady who is a Vampire Huntress. It's set in LA, but travels to New Orleans and other places. He Heroins love interest is a Latino.

Warning: The LA Banks books are pretty graphic and kinda scary.
