ever since the new iOS update to iOS 6 my iPod has not been working as it ought to with the Bluetooth enabled Alpine stereo in my car. Before the update my ipod would automatically connect to my car, and i could leave my ipod in my purse and just safely use the buttons on the stereo to change the songs without having to take my eyes off the road. This was the reason i chose to get the bluetooth alpine radio, because i could wirelessly listen to my ipod or iphone with out having to look down to change the songs. now with the new update, my ipod connects, yet the buttons no longer work on the radio, i now have to change songs by hitting the button on the screen of my ipod or iphone. this is very annoying. before the update all my ipod information was sent to the screen of the radio so i knew what song was playing. this is no longer the case with the new update. i want to know if there is any way i can fix this, or if this is a known problem that apple will hopefully address in the future. please let me know if you also are having this trouble..

It's probably a problem with Alpine, not Apple.

Depending on how old your Alpine is it just may not be compatible with iOS 6.

You can look up your model number on Alpine's website and see if there happens to be a firmware update.

AAMOF, there is something stated about a firmware update on certain models right on the home page. Hopefully your model is in that list.
