Windows movie player sound problem?? 10 points for best answer!!!?

Help needed please.
i was creating a video but suddenly when ever i play it the back ground music goes all weird. it plays the music but the main singers voice is missing, only the background of the music is playing, please can someone help me get it back to normal.
p.s it does play some of the chorus harmonies but not the main singers voice.

Maybe it's a codec deficiency.
Download and install the Media Player Codec Pack (Free) from

Hi..

You state you were creating a video , so the problem may have been at this time...

Assuming the problem was not then you could try this..

Right click your volume speaker icon (Bottom right ).
Select play back devices.
Right click your speaker icon and select properties..
Click enhancements and make sure "Voice cancellation " is not checked.
