Cool yes! But it's waaayyyyyy!!! too much car for a teenager. A teenager needs something to learn on and to hone their driving skills - like a family car. They won't need an excuse to go fast and drive reckless. It comes naturally. Do not let them get a car with six months of getting their drivers license. Then start with an older car with a 4-cylinder engine.
For the first six months:
Don't let them have more than one other teenager in the car with them.
Don't let them drive after dark.
Don't let them use their cell phone while driving.
