Divx web player won't play on the newest version of firefox on windows

7, how do i fix this? i have uninstall and reinstall a thousand times. but strangely it plays on my desktop computer that has windows xp.

I found this online and it fixed mine completely been sitting here testing it out and havnt had a problem
Goto all programs
Divx or divx plus folder;
right click divx player; left click properties
;compatibility
check "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
then drop down and select Windows vista service pack 2;
Then check disable visual themes;
Check Run this program as administrator;
Apply then Ok close all windows and it should be running without having to reboot.
